What Do They Eat In India For Lunch How Much Is $1 US Worth In India?

How much is $1 US worth in India? - what do they eat in india for lunch

I understand that the exchange rate, but what about the local purchasing power? For example, you can eat in a fast-food restaurant in the United States about U.S. $ 6. What is it like in India. Thank you - trying to reach an agreement.

Its all relative. 1 USD = 43RS.
A good indicator of the general purchasing power index is the Big Mac for a Big Mac is the same worldwide. However, among the sacred cows in India !!!!!! Just as a note of a Big Mac costs about U.S. $ 3.50 and Pakistan (the same price range), which costs $ 2.30. So my estimate is 35% off.

One method is usually empoy salary I earn, and the comparable salaries in India. I found that a factor of 10-12.5 usually works best. Thus, if the price is $ 6 in the U.S., in India the prices of similar things in India in May to about 60-75 dollars. This means that the product is comparable, and not necessarily the same.
There are many global companies to move the actual exchange rate and brand their products for the same price (for exchange rates) in the U.S. or in India or elsewhere in the world.
But in a perspective of life is a factor of 10-12.5 kept me very useful, most of the time.
